ABSTRACT

The Karimunjawa community, which is multi-cultural and ethnically diverse, has
an identity and noble values that can become a combination of political integration
at the local level as a "Small Archipelago". Tribal ties can be dissolved in
traditional and religious ties. Likewise, integration between community leaders,
religious leaders and government officials is a role model for citizens in general.
Javanese tradition and the influence of Muslim culture can become a binding for
the sense of community in society.
