UNTAG Law Review (ULREV) is a periodical scientific journal published in two editions of the year (May and November editions). ULREV accepts articles / articles that have not been published in other media for publication under the following conditions:

Writing can be either research articles or conceptual articles (freelance) in the field of law. Articles typed using computers on A4 paper with upper and left margins 4 cm, bottom and right margins 3 cm, using Times New Roman font type, 12 font size and 1.5 spacing. Indonesian article titles consist of a maximum of 12 words, while the title of the English article consists of a maximum of 19 words. Articles should be accompanied by abstracts in English and Indonesian for 75 words. The keyword is adapted to the 5-7 word language of the articles.

Systematics of writing:

  • The systematic nature of the research should include: Title, Author Name, Abstract, Keywords, Problem Background, Research Methods, Research Results and Discussion, Concluding Remarks, Bibliography. 
  • The systematic text of the conceptual article should include: Title, Author Name, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Discussion, Conclusion, References.
Writing bibliography arranged alphabetically with the procedure of writing as follows:

Book

The writing begins with an author without title, publishing year, book title (in italics), publisher, publishing place.

Examples:

  • Soetandyo Wignjosoebroto, 2002, Hukum, Paradigma, Metode, dan Dinamika Masalahnya, Elsam, Jakarta.
  • Soimin Soedharyo, 1992, Hukum Orang dan Keluarga, Sinar Grafika, Jakarta.
  • Weston Paul M, 1965, Supervision in The Administration of Justice Police Correction Courtes, Springfield, CH.C. Thomas.

Internet

The writing starts with the name of the author without the title, The title of writing (beginning and ending with quotes) where the post is loaded (italicized), the date is accessed.

  • The bibliography should be referenced from the current edition and strongly recommended from the journal.
  • Writing citations using footnote models. How to write as in the number 4, but the author's name is not reversed.

 

Acceptance of article submitted online on the website

Articles that have not met the above formal requirements will not be processed. The editing board reserves the right to select and edit incoming articles.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

As a journal author, you have rights for a large range of uses of your article, including use by your employing institute or company. These Author rights can be exercised without the need to obtain specific permission.

Authors publishing in ULREV journals have wide rights to use their works for teaching and scholarly purposes without needing to seek permission, including: use for classroom teaching by Author or Author's institution and presentation at a meeting or conference and distributing copies to attendees; use for internal training by author's company; distribution to colleagues for their research use; use in a subsequent compilation of the author's works; inclusion in a thesis or dissertation; reuse of portions or extracts from the article in other works (with full acknowledgement of final article); preparation of derivative works (other than commercial purposes) (with full acknowledgement of final article); voluntary posting on open web sites operated by author or author’s institution for scholarly purposes (follow CC by SA License).
